Scalia's comment that voting rights are the last bastion of racial privilege caused an uproar among Republican elected officials. One governor ( who remained anonymous due to his hood) shouted that the comment would only backfire and added that the governments should continue with proven practices:
1) disenfranchisement via id laws and reduced voting hours
2) wholesale felony convictions for black Americans
3) jerry-mandering of voting districts.
"Scalia played into the Left's hands. Leave this work to the professionals and get back on the golf course!"
