Spleen Cringe Whilst I don’t think I’ve heard an album I don’t like from Aaron Martin, this one of his best yet. He is carving out a niche somewhere between modern classical and old, weird Americana, somewhere between the front porch and the laptop. Every track has a lovely, lustrous patina of carefully polished timelessness. A true American Primitive.
